Lightworks Enterprises Announces Debut of Lightworks Pictures

New Division to Develop Films Exploring the Dynamics of the Human Spirit

First production, The Note, to premiere on Hallmark Channel December 8.

NEW YORK, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightworks Enterprises, Inc., an integrated production and distribution company, today announced the formation of its new motion picture division Lightworks Pictures. This new division, which will develop and produce made-for-television and independent theatrical films, will focus on projects exploring human relations, social justice, and understanding among people.

Lightworks Pictures will be headed by William Spencer Reilly, President and CEO, and Maura Dunbar, Executive Vice President.

The first film produced under the Lightworks Pictures banner is The Note, starring Genie Francis and Ted McGinley, executive produced by Joel Rice and directed by Doug Barr. The Note will premiere on Hallmark Channel, Saturday December 8. "We could not be more pleased with The Note. Lightworks Pictures plans to develop a slate of seven films in 2008, including projects being scripted by Scott Abbott, Joe Cacaci, Lucky Gold and Donald Martin.
