Granite Broadcasting Corporation Appoints Craig Coane as President and General Manager of KBWB-TV, Its Station in the Bay Area

NEW YORK, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Granite Broadcasting Corporation today announced the appointment of Craig Coane as President and General Manager of KBWB, its independent station serving the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose television market, the 6th largest television market in the United States. Mr. Coane joins the Granite team from Comcast Corporation, where he spent more than four years as the director of local sales in this same market.

Mr. Coane began his career in the broadcasting industry in 1995, shortly after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis. Prior to joining Comcast as director of sales, where he led a sales organization of more than 60 people, he spent almost 6 years at KPIX, San Francisco's CBS affiliate, serving as both the local sales manager and as an account executive. Mr. Coane also held the position of account executive for two years at CBS Radio in San Francisco.
