Movies Offer Alternative To Going Out On New Year's

WHAT: For those celebrating New Year's Eve at home, movies provide
a way to pass the time until midnight -- and 2008 -- arrive.

Thousands of U.S. corporate BLOCKBUSTER(R) stores will be
open on New Year's Eve to help make sure at-home
celebrations stay lively through the arrival of 2008.

New Year's and New Year's Day are two of the retailer's
busiest days of the year.

WHEN: Monday, Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve) 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 1 (New Year's Day) 10 a.m. to midnight
