LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Make-A-Wish Foundation(R) of Greater Los Angeles, together with The Walt Disney Company will fulfill the wish of 6-year-old Kiara to visit the Walt Disney World(R) Resort in Orlando, Fla. Kiara was dressed as Cinderella and was Disney's honored guest "princess" at the World Premiere of Walt Disney Pictures' "Enchanted" at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, just prior to her departure for Florida the next day. Kiara's star-studded, fairytale send-off to Disney World marked the first wish of the Foundation's Holiday Campaign, A Season of Wishes, and celebrated Disney's enhanced relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.

Disney provided Kiara with the finest in princess must-haves, including a Cinderella dress, slippers and a tiara to wear to the premiere. Kiara met all of her favorite princesses at the "Enchanted" extravaganza, which she attended along with her parents, her twin sister Kayla and 9-year-old brother Brandon.
"A fairy tale princess send off at the premier of "Enchanted" was a fitting place to jumpstart Kiara's wish to visit the Walt Disney World(R) Resort and kick-off our holiday collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles," said Jeff Hoffman, vice president, Disney Worldwide Outreach. "Disney is proud to be the Premier Sponsor of the A Season of Wishes campaign and to help make wishes come true this holiday season."
Over the past 27 years, Disney has continued to support the Make-A-Wish cause, contributing more than $11 million in cash and in-kind donations on an annual basis. This year, Disney will once again show its tremendous support of the Los Angeles community as the Premiere Sponsor of the A Season of Wishes(TM) campaign.
"The Walt Disney Company is playing a key role in A Season of Wishes(TM) this year and this spectacular event is the perfect example of how important its involvement is for the Foundation's children, like Kiara," said Kelli Seely, president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. "Disney added that special glitter, glamour and "wow-factor" that only it can."
Now in its third year, A Season of Wishes provides all Southern California residents with numerous opportunities to witness the powerful impact that fulfilling a wish has on the lives of children battling life-threatening medical conditions through a series of public wish fulfillment celebrations that include "Weekly Wish Nights at The Grove," where every Tuesday night during the holiday season at The Grove in Los Angeles, a wish child has their most heartfelt wish publicly granted. This year, Disney's The Cheetah Girls will serve as Honorary Wish Granters and fulfill three wishes during this wonderful celebration.
