Congress Television Plan by iBoycott Slates Money Awards

Congress Television Plan by iBoycott Slates Money Awards

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A boycott-proposed, Congress Television Channel can modernize Congress's communication to the nation, according to iBoycott, an online organizing group.

The format of Congress Television Channel gives each of the 535 members of Congress a 15-minute, my-television-newsmagazine, to the nation and world, from anywhere on earth. Each U.S. Senator and Representative -- alphabetically -- can present his or her own television newsmagazine, selecting and framing any topics, every twenty-two evenings for each member.

iBoycott requires that the private individuals who most help to achieve Congress Television Channel receive money awards from the boycott-settlement. The prizes are to be a one-hundred million dollar first prize, two, fifty- million dollar prizes, five, twenty-million dollar prizes, and fifty, two- million dollar awards.

The launch of Congress Television Channel is to be propelled as well by a consumer boycott of a television advertiser. iBoycott suggests that there has been network television news silence about genocide in south Sudan. Congress has twice declared genocide to be ongoing in Sudan.

"The money awards are only a pittance for each black person slain to network news silence, and are less than some bonuses to media executives," said iBoycott President Terrence McCloy.

McDonald's is the first target television advertiser of the boycott. The boycott demands that the fast-food corporation withdraw its advertising from first target television network, NBC Universal, a division of General Electric. According to iBoycott, NBC News's coverage of genocide of a cited 2.2 to three million black Christians in south Sudan has been non-existent.

iBoycott requires that General Electric convene other major media corporations, to launch Congress Television Channel in ninety days. The satellite Channel is to be owned and run by Congress. A sister Internet channel can feature feedback, downloads, and fundraising. The boycott is based on a document titled Wall Street, at blog biggorilla.typepad.com.

iBoycott suggests that the American way for unhappy consumers is to demand refunds. The boycott demands that NBC and four other major media each set aside multi-billion dollar apology-remorse funds. The funds are to be for money awards for Americans who obtain count-me-in emails from friends. iBoycott invites social-networkers and all Americans to earn refund awards. The boycott also requires a Sudanese Christians genocide recovery trust.

iBoycott believes that Congress will vigorously support the Congress Television Channel project.
