Deluxe New York Appoints Key Executives

Industry Vet Michael Jackman Named as Vice President, General Manager

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Deluxe New York LLC, a division of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc., has hired Michael Jackman as Vice President & General Manager. Jackman will be responsible for the launch of Deluxe New York, scheduled to be fully operational by late March, 2008. The Downtown facility will initially house motion picture film laboratory operations, EFILM New York, a screening room equipped for both film and d-cinema and an array of digital services to support picture post-production for dailies, mastering and deliverables.

Before joining Deluxe, Jackman was Senior Vice President of Post Production at The Weinstein Company overseeing post on all original productions and acquisitions for The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films. Other post-production management credits include Martin Scorsese's "The Aviator" and "Gangs of New York." Jackman has also been a producer and production manager for features and TV series making him uniquely suited to run a post-production facility and anticipate the needs of customers.

Deluxe New York is announcing four other key hires. Russ Robertson will be relocating to New York as Vice President, Sales. Robertson has been with Deluxe for over five years and has held senior sales positions with the company. Terra Bliss has been appointed Manager of Operations and will be responsible for an operational team that includes EFILM, HD dailies and Media Management services. Bliss was formerly a Senior Producer with EFILM Hollywood.

Joe Gawler has joined the company as Senior Digital Intermediate Colorist. Gawler brings considerable expertise to EFILM New York, with DI credits on projects such as "Man of the Year" and "The Devil Wears Prada." Emery Anderson has been appointed Chief Engineer. Anderson has held similar positions with other technology companies and will be responsible for the design, installation and ongoing care of the Deluxe technology platform.
