VODone Launches Seven New Channels

New Channels to Attract Diverse Consumer Interests and Allow Advertisers to

Target a Variety of Customers

Hong Kong, Sept. 24 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VODone Limited ("VODone") (stock code: 82.HK), a leading telemedia service provider in China, announced today the launch of seven new channels, namely Information Channel, Finance Channel, Sports Channel, Health Channel, Music Channel, Lottery Channel and English Channel. The multi-launch further solidifies the VODone presence in the telemedia market and significantly expands its reach to customers while empowering advertisers to target a wider variety of consumers. The event marks VODone's increasing ability to capture additional market share and further monetize opportunities in the telemedia sector.

Among the multiple channels launching today, the Information Channel is jointly launched by the Group and Xinhua News Agency, which is expected to reach 132 million internet users in China. The Group is also collaborating with Hong Kong's ET Net to launch the financial channel, making it the first internet platform in China that provides real time quotes for Hong Kong stocks. Reuters will also provide financial content to enrich the information delivered by the finance channel. In the near future, the financial channel will launch an internet road show service to facilitate corporate presentations as well as the information disclosure of local and overseas listed companies.

VODone also partners with YES TV from the UK and its Hong Kong subsidiary GOAL TV to launch the Sports Channel. The channel broadcasts live programs of premier soccer leagues in France, the Netherlands and Scotland as well as the National Football League in the US. The Group will continue to work closely with GOAL TV to penetrate the huge video on demand sports program market. This service will serve to fill the growing interest among sports enthusiasts throughout China.

Backed by the China Family Planning Association, the health channel will promote health, disease prevention and AIDS prevention. The channel also features online consultation and interactive seminars which are expected to attract additional net traffic. This channel emphasizes VODone's role in delivering much needed health information while serving as an example of corporate responsibility as it promotes health education in China.

The Group also partners with Linguaphone, a globally recognized self- learning language course provider, to launch the English Channel. This channel offers an online pronunciation correction system and interactive classes to the huge English learning market in China. The programs will target Chinese people's appetite for learning and cater to a variety of students from all walks of life, including children, young adults, white-collar workers and management. The online English programs will be tailor-made to truly enhance Chinese people's listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

VODone cooperates with Yes Entertainment in Hong Kong to launch the Music Channel featuring the latest rock music. The channel offers an interactive platform for music lovers from all over the world to exchange their music through online video sharing.

With the support of the national lottery management departments, the Group cooperates with Chongqing Welfare Lottery Centre to launch the Lottery Channel. The channel provides internet lottery service for 70 million players. This platform is the most advanced paperless lottery sales system, providing a convenient, efficient and secure lottery service.

These seven channels provide fee-based and free programs online, attracting a wide variety of net users with exciting infotainment that caters to a variety of tastes while providing access and the ability for advertisers to target specific customers. The Group also provides platforms for user- generated content, such as individual live broadcast studio, self-serve advertisement upload and revenue-sharing programs. These new channels are expected to have a significant impact on the web users who select VODone as the preferred media platform for infotainment while attracting additional advertising revenue to VODone.
