Sony Debuts Four Movies in Memory Stick Entertainment Pack for the PlayStation Portable System

2GB and 4GB Memory Stick Micro Media Also Available for Mobile Phones

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony is introducing two capacities of its Memory Stick(R) Entertainment Pack for the PSP(R) (PlayStation(R) Portable) system later this month featuring either 2GB or 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo(TM) media. Both versions come with a launcher DVD loaded with four movies from Sony Pictures Entertainment, including "Click," "Ghost Rider," "RV" and "Stomp the Yard."

With the launcher DVD loaded into a personal computer, one of the four movies can be transferred from the DVD to the Memory Stick media, using the provided unlock code. Each movie is optimized for playback on the Sony PlayStation3 console at 720 x 480 resolution and the PSP.

The 2GB Memory Stick Entertainment Pack (MSX-M2GSEP3) and the 4GB Memory Stick Entertainment Pack (MSX-M4GSEP3) will be available for about $55 and $90,

respectively.

Sony has also unveiled tiny 2GB and 4GB Memory Stick Micro(TM) media cards particularly for use with Sony Ericsson and other cellular phones. With the included adaptor, Memory Stick Micro media can also be used with Cyber-shot(R) digital cameras and Handycam(R) camcorders that have a Memory Stick PRO Duo slot.

The 2GB Memory Stick Micro media card, MS-A2GD, is available now for about $55. The 4GB card, MS-A4GD, will be available in November for around $90.
