"This is the HDTV of photography," stated Pete Casabonne, President of myPhotopipe.com, Inc. "Pearl indulges the senses with a luxurious presentation of colors, depth and luster that until now were unavailable in photographic prints on a cost-effective basis. The Fuji engineers have once again done the unexpected. The photographic print has evolved to a new, higher standard."

Fuji Crystal Archive Pearl is a photographic paper with embedded pearl-like crystals that result in brilliant colors, enhanced detail, and a lustrous surface that adds a sense of depth to the image. "In late August, the Company tested the super-premium paper in a limited edition of sizes, but we were inundated with requests for the high-gloss surface in other print sizes, as well," noted Casabonne. "We quickly expanded our production capability for Pearl in the first week of September, and it should be fully integrated into our product lines by the end of the month."

"This illustrates our continued commitment to the professional and serious amateur segment of the digital photography market, as well as our ability to test, evaluate, and react to a significant event in the industry," observed L. Douglas Keeney, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. "Most importantly, our initial sales of Pearl were excellent. Pearl prints accounted for over 1.4% of our total sales during the four-week test period. That's an incredibly strong start for any new product, and we believe it will show continued growth as we increase our own marketing activities."
