NAMIC Set to Present Forward Thinking Discussion on Leadership at Mid-America Cable Show

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- NAMIC (National Association for Multi- ethnicity in Communications) will present a breakout session as part of The 50th Mid-America Cable Show. The event takes place September 11-13, 2007 at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas. The NAMIC panel entitled "Leadership at The Speed of Communications: Spanning the Next 50 Years" is scheduled for Wednesday, September 12 at 10:15 a.m. Central time.

Founded in 1958, The Mid-America Cable Show is a non-profit, membership organization of cable system operators based in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. Panelists confirmed for the NAMIC general session include Mark Kang, vice president of affiliate relations & national accounts, The Sportsman Channel; Roger Ponder, division president, Time Warner Cable, Kansas; David M. Porter, Jr., PhD, executive director, Walter Kaitz Foundation and Kandice Wepler, vice president/general manager, Comcast - Kansas City Area. NAMIC's Director of Education, James C.
