Artists Brian Litrell, Nicole C. Mullen, Jars of Clay, MxPx, and More Set to Perform at Labor Day Weekend Outdoor Music Festival
FLEMINGTON, N.J., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Revelation Generation music festival (www.revelationgeneration.org) -- quickly becoming the event of the summer -- is right around the corner. Now in its third year, Revelation Generation is an annual, day-long festival that features renowned Christian musical artists from every genre-from pop to rock to rap. Taking place on September 1st, at Revelations Farms -- a 140-plus acre property in Hunterdon County -- the event is sure to attract people of all ages, from teens to grandparents, and everyone in between.
With two stages named after the two cities surrounding the area (New York and Philadelphia), event-goers are sure to find a band to suit their tastes. The New York stage will host contemporary artists Nicole C. Mullen, Newsboys and former Backstreet Boy, Brian Litrell. Other artists performing on that stage include long-time favorite Jars of Clay, hip-hop artist, Grits, and Building 429. The Philadelphia stage will draw a more alternative crowd, featuring well-known punk band MxPx, rock bands Skillet, The Almost, and Emery, and hardcore band Norma Jean -- all of which can be heard on Christian and mainstream radio alike.
Several nationally-recognized motivational speakers, such as Ron Luce, Bob Lenz, Justin Lookadoo and Mylon LeFevre will also take to the stages to share their experiences and advice with the crowd. Other entertainment will include renowned guitarist Phil Keaggy, playing an acoustic set in the Worship Tent; and an adrenaline-pumping skateboarding exhibition by the KKSM (King of Kings Skateboard Ministry).
The whole family is encouraged to join in the festivities, as the event will also feature well known attractions such as the Exhibitor Tent with local vendors and community organizations, inflatable amusement games and a full range of family-oriented activities.
"As this exciting event draws closer, we are looking forward to an even larger turnout from the past two years," said Robert Grom, co-founder of Revelation Generation with wife Kim Grom. "Festival-goers can enjoy the entertainment and activities in a safe, drug- and alcohol-free environment -- perfect for the whole family."
