Two New Members Appointed to the Board of Directors

NEW YORK, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- DietTV.com (www.diettv.com), formerly Diet Television.com, today announced that it has closed a $2 million Series-A round of investment led by MentorTech Ventures. DietTV.com, a social network for dieters, harnesses the wisdom of the crowd to promote healthy and successful weight loss. The company will use the funds to make significant enhancements to its website and to spread the word about its new approach to weight loss.

DietTV.com also announced the appointment of Michael B. Aronson and Elaine K. Rubin to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Aronson is the managing director of MentorTech Ventures, which invests in early stage technology companies with a primary focus on those companies originating at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as companies founded by alumni with successful track records. Ms. Rubin is the Chairman of Shop.org and a former executive at Amazon Enterprise Solutions, 1800Flowers.com and iVillage.com.
