TRANSFORMERS Breaks July 4th Record in US

LONDON, July 5/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Following its outstanding international start last weekend TRANSFORMERS
has seen a record-breaking US box office opening.

Officially in theatres on Tuesday (July 3) for the July 4 Independence
Day Holiday TRANSFORMERS grossed a colossal US$29.082m . This first day was
over 30% stronger than the domestic launch days of WAR OF THE WORLDS and last
summer's SUPERMAN RETURNS.

Combining with Monday-night previews TRANSFORMERS had grossed US$36.25m
before heading into the Wednesday holiday

The domestic success comes on the heels of stunning international
launches last weekend which set a wealth of records for Paramount,
DreamWorks,, director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg.

TRANFORMERS will open across the UK and Ireland on Friday, July 27th.
