Sheryl Crow Rocks the Breast Cancer Cause

Performer to Appear in Public Service Announcements for QVC Presents 'FFANY Shoes on Sale'

WEST CHESTER, Pa., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Nine-time GRAMMY(R) Award- winning singer-songwriter and breast cancer survivor Sheryl Crow is showing her support in the fight against breast cancer.

The rocker, and new mom, is scheduled to appear in both print and television public service announcements supporting the 14th annual QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" breast cancer fundraising event, live on QVC(R) Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 7 PM - 10 PM (ET).

Crow has lent her support to the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center, one of several beneficiaries of the televised fundraiser, as well as many breast cancer awareness and research organizations across the country.

The three-hour broadcast features leading shoe designers offering more than 100,000 pairs of shoes at half the manufacturer's suggested retail price, with all net proceeds from the program going to leading breast cancer research and education institutions. Now in its 14th year, the event once again brings together one of the largest multimedia retailers in the world, QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY(R)), who together have donated nearly $25 million to the cause.

"This disease has touched my life personally and unfortunately there are so many women receiving the same diagnosis every day," said Crow. "I am thrilled to be able to offer my support for QVC Presents 'FFANY Shoes on Sale.' The funds raised from this event have helped me and so many women in the fight against breast cancer."

"Sheryl Crow has been a strong woman who defied the odds of this disease and is therefore an inspiration to women everywhere," said Jeff Charney, QVC senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer. "In addition to being passionate about finding a cure, she appeals to women of all ages so we are especially thrilled that she has graciously agreed to support this year's event."

"We work very hard each year to generate increased awareness for this worthwhile event to ultimately raise more money for breast cancer research and education," said Joe Moore, FFANY president and CEO. "Our first 'face' for the event is this public service announcement, and having Sheryl Crow appear on our behalf is sure to garner significant attention."

In addition to the Joyce Eisenberg Keefer Breast Center at John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center, QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" 2007 beneficiaries include: The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania; The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center's Breast Oncology Program; The Gillette Center for Women's Cancers at Dana- Farber Cancer Institute; The Breast Cancer Research Foundation; and The Alvin J.
