Renowned television journalist John Palmer and film and TV star, Adam West visit two unique mature adult communities - Sedgebrook and Monarch Landing
COLUMBIA, Md., July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Retirement Living TV, the first cable network dedicated to people age 55+, announced it will be on location in Chicago on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22 at the Erickson Tribune Fair. Renowned TV journalist John Palmer and film and TV star Adam West will be taping segments for the network's newest show, Daily Cafe. Segments will be taped during the fair at two of the most progressive retirement campus-style communities in the country -- Sedgebrook and Monarch Landing.
On Saturday, Retirement Living TV will be on location at Monarch Landing, an Erickson Retirement Community situated in Naperville, just 28 miles west of downtown Chicago. On Sunday the network will be at the Sedgebrook community, located 20 miles from the city in Lincolnshire.
"It has been an honor for Retirement Living TV to work with two of television's biggest icons [Palmer and West] on this production," said President of Retirement Living TV Brad Knight. "I am confident that these segments will resonate with -- and entertain -- our viewers."
With more than 60 movie and 80 television guest appearances, West achieved fame in 1966 with the wildly-popular television series Batman. Since then, West has been involved in more than 50 projects including movies, TV-movies and television voice-overs.
Palmer, a former news correspondent for NBC News, hosts Retirement Living TV's Encore with John Palmer, where viewers have the chance to meet famous and celebrated individuals-the men and women who, while on the public stage, had a powerful influence on politics, the media, the military and public opinion.
This is the first annual Erickson Tribune Fair being held on behalf of Erickson Retirement Communities. More than 500 patrons are expected to attend. Fair hours for the Monarch Landing location are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for the Sedgebrook location 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
