MTV Networks Promotes Greg Clayman to Executive Vice President, Digital Distribution & Business Development

Roles of MTVN Mobile Media Chief, Execs Alice Kim and Jeremiah Zinn Expanded to Include Online Distribution

NEW YORK, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV Networks (MTVN), a unit of Viacom (NYSE:VIA)(NYSE:VIA.B), has promoted Greg Clayman to Executive Vice President, Digital Distribution & Business Development. He was formerly Senior Vice President, MTVN Mobile Media, a position he assumed in December 2006. Based in the company's New York City headquarters, Clayman will continue to report to Mika Salmi, President, Global Digital Media, MTVN.

In his new role, Clayman will manage digital business development across MTV Networks, working closely with its brands and Salmi to develop new opportunities for distribution of digital content and to strike deals with online partners. He will continue to oversee the MTVN Mobile Media group as well, supporting the company's brands in developing and distributing a wide portfolio of mobile content and applications. Additionally, Clayman will partner with MTVN's International division on global partnerships and distribution strategy.

Previously, Clayman served as Senior Vice President, MTVN Mobile Media, managing mobile partnerships and content distribution for the company. Prior to joining MTVN, Clayman co-founded Upoc Networks and served as its Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. Previously, Clayman served as Vice President of Brand Strategy at the Sterling Group in New York City. At Sterling, Clayman led brand strategy projects for a number of media, entertainment and retail companies including MTV Networks, Liberty Digital, and Levi's.

In addition, MTVN announced expanded roles for two members of Clayman's team. Alice Kim, formerly Vice President of Carrier Relations and Wireless Distribution, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Digital Distribution and Partner Relations. In her new role, Alice will manage distribution deals and partnerships across wireless carriers, online portals, video aggregators, and emerging media players. Jeremiah Zinn, formerly Vice President of Mobile Operations and Product Development, will now serve as Senior Vice President, Syndication & Operations, working closely with the Global Digital Media team to manage operations for online content distribution, while continuing to oversee operations and product development for MTVN Mobile Media.
