Azteca America Carried on DIRECTV In Philadelphia

LOS ANGELES, July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Azteca America, the fastest-growing Hispanic television network in the United States, is proud to announce that as of today, its affiliated station in Philadelphia, WZPA-33, is carried locally on DIRECTV as part of a retransmission consent right exercised by the licensee.

The agreement will allow DIRECTV subscribers residing in the Philadelphia, southern New Jersey and surrounding areas to view Azteca America's popular programming on channel 33. WZPA is operated by Una Vez Mas, LP, the nation's largest group owner of Azteca America affiliated television stations. According to Nielsen Media Research, Philadelphia is the nation's 18th largest Hispanic television market.
