TV Watch Executive Director Jim Dyke to Serve as Panelist

CHARLESTON, S.C., June 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jim Dyke, Executive Director of TV Watch, will be participating in the Kaiser Family Foundation's June 19th forum in which he will represent parents who choose to make viewing decisions for their family rather than the government.

"Today, families have a variety of options at their fingertips to help them make television viewing decisions," said Dyke. "The explosion of available entertainment options has given families more TV viewing choices, while information and tools, such as TV program ratings and the V-Chip, have empowered parents to be in control of what their family watches."

The forum also marks the release of the Kaiser Family Foundation's newest survey, Parents, Children and the Media: A Kaiser Family Foundation Survey. The report is based on a national survey of more than 1,000 parents of children ages 2-17 and includes parental focus groups from six cities around the country.
