DURING MLB ALL-STAR BREAK, AURILIA - WHOSE DEBUT ALBUM FINDING MY WAY COMES OUT 7/31 - WILL ALSO PLAY THE 7/10 'SAVE IT' GREEN CARPET BENEFIT AT RUBY SKYE AND AT SAN FRANCISCO ART EXCHANGE ON 7/9

SAN FRANCISCO, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- This Wednesday, June 27, San Francisco-based pop/rock singer-songwriter Raquel Aurilia -- whose debut album Finding My Way comes out July 31 -- will perform a special acoustic set at Paragon Restaurant. The occasion is a fifteenth anniversary celebration for the upscale American eatery that she's hosting with husband Rich Aurilia, infielder for the San Francisco Giants. Proceeds from the special event -- slated for 6-9PM -- will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Paragon is located a block from the Giants' AT&T Park in the city's south of Market district at 701 Second Street. For tickets and information, call +1-415-537-9020.

Raquel Aurilia will also play two dates during the Major League Baseball All-Star Break. The 78th Annual MLB All-Star Game -- the third Midsummer Classic ever held in S.F., and the first at AT&T Park -- takes place Tues., July 10. That night, Raquel and her band will headline the Green All-Star Jam, hosted by Rich Aurilia, at hotspot Ruby Skye. The high-profile, "green carpet" VIP sports & celebrity gala benefits Save It, a non-profit environmental coalition whose mission is to build a broad-based private/public partnership to restore and enhance city parks and playgrounds. The event also supports the non-profit Youth Speaks, an organization empowering young people to express themselves to create positive social, artistic, education and political change.

Limited $300 VIP tickets are available; general admission is $85. The evening kicks off at 5:30PM with a Big Screen Game Experience, hosted by 107.7FM The Bone DJs Lamont & Tonelli, to enjoy All-Star action in ultimate style. The post-game gala begins at 9PM; in addition to Raquel's set, DJ Solomon and Chris Clouse will spin, and an All-Star Jam will feature Rich Aurilia and friends. Among those invited to attend are Giants pitcher Barry Zito, Golden State Warriors Al Harrington and Byron Davis, New England Patriot Tom Brady, Yankee Jason Giambi, S.F. Mayor Gavin Newsom and many others. Ruby Skye is located at 420 Mason Street, SF, CA 94102. For tickets and information, log on to http://www.saveit.cc/.

Also during the All-Star break, Raquel will perform an intimate acoustic set at 8:30PM on Monday, July 9 at San Francisco Art Exchange (458 Geary Street). Known internationally as the "Gallery of the Popular Image," SFAE is featuring S.F.'s first-ever exhibition of pre-eminent celebrity sports painter Stephen Holland, whose many works include published art sanctioned by MLB.

Aurilia's debut album Finding My Way will be released July 31 on Shea Records with national distribution through Universal/Fontana. The first single, "Where Was I," currently Top 10 on FMQB's AC chart, is available now on iTunes. The second single, "Feels Like" -- which generated major buzz last year during sneak previews on select AC stations -- comes out in early July. Other album highlights include "The Need," an uplifting ballad issued as a limited-edition single to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims via an '06 MLB fundraiser, in Raquel's ongoing tradition of philanthropic outreach.
