Saratoga Gaming and Raceway Announces Fireworks and Concert Schedule

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- . The luckiest day of the year? While scholars and skeptics across the country debate the significance of 7-7-07, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway already knows what it means: more cash and prize giveaways! And the luck is extending to the entire week with fireworks, the Gin Blossoms, and hot dance nights.

A special night of racing kicks off the celebration at 5:00pm on Tuesday, July 3rd. The 13 races include a special $25,000 Firecracker Pace. The 5:00 post time is followed by a free fireworks display at approximately 9:15. The Fireworks display is now easier than ever to view because CDTA's new Saratoga Springs bus service will connect visitors throughout the community to Saratoga Gaming and Raceway for free on July 3rd.

After the outdoor fireworks, stay for some indoor action with the debut of local band Audiostars at Vapor. Audiostars features J. Yager and Matt Pirog, the former front man and lead guitar player for local favorites The Burners UK.

Celebrate Independence Day with a free T-Shirt Giveaway for the first 1000 Club members to visit the Player Extras Club on July 4th. Then, on Saturday, July 7, 2007 one winner will win $7,777 cash at 7pm while they play with their Player Extras Club Card. Also that day, 7 players will be randomly selected throughout the day to win $100 in Free Play.

Music fans are in luck: the Gin Blossoms are stopping at Vapor on July 6 while on tour in support of their new album Major Lodge Victory. Fans can expect to hear new songs as well as favorites like "Hey Jealousy", "Follow You Down" and "Til I Hear It From You." Vapor is offering theme dance nights throughout the summer starting with Carnivale on July 5th and continuing throughout the summer with Body English, Boogie Nights, Sips, Lips and Fingertips, Entourage, Maxed-out Martinis, and the season finale, the White Party. Vapor's own DJ Motion will spin the most cutting edge mixes and patrons can indulge in drink specials.

Carnivale (July 5 and August 16 and 30) brings South America's most famous pageant of music and dance to Vapor. The ultimate street party doesn't require a costume, but guests should be prepared to bring their best Latin dance moves and taste unique mojito specials. Body English (Saturdays in July and August except for July 28) is the hottest night of the dance week with high-energy music and the chance to join the stage and spotlight dancers while competing to become an honorary Vapor girl.

Boogie Nights (July 13 and 20 and August 3 and 24) bring the days of Studio 54 and The Factory to Saratoga Springs. Put on your boogie shoes and relive the era of disco! Sips, Lips and Fingertips (July 19 and August 8, 15 and 29) is the premium ladies night. Preferential treatment will be bestowed upon those Ladies who come dressed to the nines; including VIP status and seating with a complimentary champagne toast, massage, manicures, make up and hair tips from the area's best salons.

Ever fantasize about the red carpet? Come to Vapor on Entourage Nights (July 27 and August 17). Paparazzi will shoot Saratoga's socialites on the Red Carpet dressed up and posing for the cameras. Beat the heat this summer with Maxed-Out Martini nights in August (2, 9, and 23). Unwind in our subdued, sophisticated surroundings while enjoying icy cold martinis specially created to dilute the summer heat. End the summer at the elite White Party. Entry is limited to persons dressed in white, and white only, a celebrity DJ to be announced later will spin that night.

The Vapor bar will be open throughout the season every day at 5:30 for happy hour. Vapor, the club is open Thursday through Saturday from 8:00pm until 4:00am and is limited to those 21 and older. Fashionable attire required.
