COLUMBIA, Md., June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the first cable network created for people aged 55 and over, premieres NOW Playing with Gary Collins on July 6 at 1:30 pm EDT and will feature Ocean's Thirteen. The weekly half-hour entertainment magazine program is being dubbed the Entertainment Tonight for boomers, airing on DirecTV's Channel 364 and regionally through Comcast. After the special premiere episode, brand new shows will air each Wednesday at 1:30 pm EDT.
NOW Playing with Gary Collins brings entertainment news straight to savvy baby boomers and seniors who want to "be in the know." The program features a weekly perspective on music, DVD and film releases and a variety of entertainment star interviews. NOW Playing also covers film and Broadway premieres, taking viewers behind-the-scenes and onto the red carpet.

Gary Collins is an Emmy-Award winning actor whose credits include a diverse array of films, television shows, mini-series and theater. Gary is best known for his work on the syndicated program Hour Magazine for which he was honored with an Emmy Award for "Best Host of a Talk/Service Series." He also served as host of The Miss America Pageant from 1981-1990 and co-host of ABC's Home from 1989-1994. Gary made his motion picture debut in Cleopatra, starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, and has also starred in such films as Airport, Hangar 18 and Beautiful. His television credits include such hits as the legendary Roots and Friends. Gary is currently starring in the original musical production Senior Class.
The RLTV Executive Producer of NOW Playing with Gary Collins is David Wasser. Ben Garrett is the Executive in Charge of Production for On the Scene Productions, Marty Tenney is the Executive Producer and Tom Brocato is Segment Producer.
RLTV launched its slate of programming in September 2006 with content designed to inform, involve, and inspire seniors by offering information on finances, health and fitness, politics and social issues, media, entertainment, and more. RLTV's four-hour block of programming is currently available in more than 26 million U.S. homes, and will also be available to nine million additional homes in Canada later this year.
