Nine Year Old Author, Assisted by Legendary Actor James Earl Jones, to Lead a Literary Improv June 26 to Show Technology's Impact on the Creative Process, Engage Students
Child Prodigy Will Use Thinkfinity.org and Suggestions From the Audience to
Write a Short Story in Minutes From the Stage
ATLANTA -- With a laptop in hand, nine-year-old author Adora Svitak -- assisted by legendary actor James Earl Jones, information from Thinkfinity.org and suggestions from a crowd of 250 -- will perform a literary improvisation June 26 at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC). The exercise, lasting about 20 minutes and resulting in a complete short story, is designed to showcase Adora's talents while highlighting the impact technology can have on education and the creative process.
The event is one of several activities at the NECC designed to demonstrate the educational resources available for free at http://www.thinkfinity.org/.
