NEW YORK, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon, Olivia Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté took part in a special dedication ceremony today in honor of John Lennon and George Harrison. Two plaques designed by Cirque du Soleil creators were unveiled in the LOVE Theatre Lobby at The Mirage in Las Vegas to celebrate the two former Beatles and their contributions to the production, LOVE.

This event celebrates the one-year anniversary of LOVE and coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. In the past year, LOVE has played to sold-out audiences, some of whom have discovered The Beatles music and their message of love for the first time.

LOVE celebrates the musical legacy of The Beatles and is presented exclusively at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The project was born out of a personal friendship and mutual admiration between George Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté.
