PARIS, June 7/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) confirms that it
has submitted an offer together with two Mexican partners (Miguel Aleman
Group and Clemente Serna Group) for 100 per cent ownership of the Mexican
satellite operator Satelites Mexicanos (SatMex).

The proposal has been submitted within the framework of the
sale process of Satmex initiated by the company's shareholders and managed by
Morgan Stanley.
