Virginia Resident Wins a $10,000 Kitchen Makeover and a Trip to the 2007 CMA Awards

ORRVILLE, Ohio, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Selected from more than a thousand mouthwatering country recipes, The J.M. Smucker Company, the makers of Crisco, announce Beth Royals of Richmond, Virginia as the winner of the Crisco(R) Country Favorites Cook-Off Contest. Beth's Coffee Toffee Tart edged out the other eleven final recipes during a live cook-off at the 2007 CMA Music Festival. This unique recipe earned Beth a $10,000 kitchen makeover and a trip to "The 41st Annual CMA Awards" in November.

During the live cook-off, the eleven finalists put their Country cookin' skills to the test for a panel of Country music and Country cooking experts. The recipes underwent judging based on creativity, taste, appearance and ease of preparation and appropriate use of products. The first place winners in each category received a $500 gift certificate to Cooking.com.
