Cumulative Audience for Lifetime Television's Hit Drama Series 'Army Wives' Reaches 6.5 Million Total Viewers on Sunday, June 10

NEW YORK, June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Lifetime Television's hit original drama series "Army Wives" scored a cumulative audience of 6.5 million total viewers for the 10PM (ET/PT) airing and the encore at 1AM (ET/PT) of the series second episode on Sunday, June 10.

"Army Wives" also marched right over more than 70 ad-supported cable networks by ranking #1 among households in the Sunday 10 PM (ET/PT) time slot, averaging a 2.9 rating -- a remarkable 100% retention rate of the series premiere numbers on June 3.

The series ranked #1 in its 10PM time period for the second consecutive week among W25-54 with a 2.2 rating and 1.2 million viewers and finished #2 among W18-34 (1.7, 470,000 viewers) and W18-49 (2.1, 1.2 million).

"Army Wives" enjoyed continuing success online as streams of episodes of the drama on LifetimeTV.com rose 78% for the two days of June 10th & June 11th vs. the prior week (June 3rd and June 4th)

Filmed on location in Charleston, South Carolina, "Army Wives" stars Emmy(R) Award winner Kim Delaney ("NYPD Blue"), Sally Pressman ("Shark"), Brigid Brannagh ("Over There"), Brian McNamara ("The O.C."), Sterling K. Brown ("Starved"), Wendy Davis ("Commander in Chief"), Drew Fuller ("Charmed") and Catherine Bell ("JAG").
