RLTV's Live News and Lifestyle Program Daily Cafe Premieres June 18
NBC News to deliver national news briefs
COLUMBIA, Md., June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the first cable network created for people aged 55 and over, launches Daily Cafe on June 18, 2 p.m. EDT on DirecTV's Channel 364 and regionally through Comcast. The two-hour live weekday program is hosted by former CNN anchors Mary Alice Williams and Felicia Taylor and features a wide variety of fun and informative segments created for mature audiences. Contributing host Sandra Pinckney, formerly of the Food Network, will conduct interviews with specialists in fields ranging from fitness to home decorating.
Daily Cafe provides authoritative news updates from NBC News, delivered by veteran correspondents, such as Rehema Ellis, and a variety of NBC correspondents. Daily Cafe's regular contributors include fashion and make-up expert Kim Foley; home designer Christopher Lowell; life coach Harriette Cole; film and culture critic Arch Campbell, a veteran of the entertainment reporting beat who's currently with WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.; gossip columnist Michael Musto of the "The Village Voice," gardening expert Joel Lerner; etiquette expert Judith Martin also known as "Miss Manners," investing and wealth management advisors "The Murray Twins"; travel bargain specialist Tom Parsons; sex therapist Dr. Ruth; and RLTV's resident gerontologist Alexis Abramson, Ph.D.
During the first week of Daily Cafe, Tina Brown will discuss her new book, "The Diana Chronicles"; Sam Donaldson will talk about his relationship with former President Ronald Reagan and share thoughts on the new best-seller "The Reagan Diaries"; 72-year-old NASCAR driver James Hylton will give insight into the fast-paced world of auto racing; Dr. Arthur Agatston, author of "The South Beach Diet Book," will share new tips for good eating and weight loss; former Nightline anchor Ted Koppel and his wife, Grace Anne, will talk about Grace Anne's battle with COPD -- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Daily Cafe will celebrate Paul McCartney's 65th birthday with one of his biggest fans.

Mary Alice Williams is a highly acclaimed broadcast journalist who has reported for CNN, NBC News and the Discovery Channel. She was one of the primary architects of CNN's worldwide television news network and was an anchor and correspondent for NBC News, where she became the first woman to win a national Emmy Award for anchoring an evening newscast. Most recently, Williams was writing for the "CBS Evening News with Katie Couric."
Felicia Taylor is well known for her work at New York's WNBC-TV, where she was co-anchor for News Channel 4's weekend evening news programs and for the No. 1-rated weekend morning news program, Weekend Today in New York. Most recently, Taylor has been a freelance business news anchor and correspondent at CNN.
