SOAPnet Launching on Time Warner Cable's North Texas Lineup May 11

Top Five Rated Daytime Dramas Available in Primetime Including The O.C. and One Tree Hill

IRVING, Texas, May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Warner Cable North Texas will premiere SOAPnet, ABC Cable Networks Group's 24-hour soap opera channel on Channel 157 on May 11. SOAPnet offers the top five rated daytime soaps in primetime and classic primetime soaps during the day in addition to original programming that gets viewers closer to their favorite stars and storylines.

A part of Time Warner Cable's North Texas digital lineup SOAPnet's innovative mix of programming features same-day repeat airings of the top five rated daytime soaps including ABC's "All My Children," "One Life To Live" and "General Hospital," CBS's "The Young and the Restless" and NBC's "Days of our Lives." This summer, "General Hospital: Night Shift," the network's first serialized drama will premiere.

SOAPnet also offers inside access to stars and storylines with original programming including its hit reality series "I Wanna Be A Soap Star," "1 Day With ... " and "Soapography."
