Shoppers and singers of all ages can become Toys "R" Us stars by picking up the microphone and singing into SingStar(TM) Pop and SingStar(TM) Rocks!, PlayStation 2's newest interactive singing experiences.

Featuring a sprinter van that transforms into three SingStar kiosks and a SingStar performance stage, not only will you be able to perform to some of your favorite songs right in the middle of the mall, but you will be able to compete with your friends or other singers. The PlayStation 2 automatically judges who sings the best at the mobile gaming area, and there's room for many singers at one time, so step up and rip it up. A SingStar Challenge is held each day at the mall stops, where the person with the top score wins a copy of SingStar Rocks!

SingStar is a new type of interactive gaming experience suitable for a wide gaming audience ... using singing as the main game mechanic! Each disk is packed with 30 hit songs for players to select and sing along to the original artist's recordings while watching the real music video on screen. SingStar Pop and SingStar Rocks! are the perfect party games, and is so easy anyone can join in. All you have to do is pick a song and sing it as best as you can into one of the two specially designed microphones; the SingStar technology will then judge how good you are. Game modes include competitive and cooperative multiplayer and single gameplay options: so take on your friends in a sing-off, or simply dive straight in and belt out your favorite hits -- it doesn't matter how well you sing; when you take that microphone you are the star. SingStar Rocks! is also compatible with the EyeToy(R) USB Camera (for PlayStation(R)2) -- you can sing and watch yourself on TV at the same time.
