Legendary Country Music Band to Launch Songs of Inspiration II

WEST CHESTER, Pa., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the success of the band's Songs of Inspiration gospel album on QVC last October, country legend Alabama is scheduled to return to QVC to launch Songs of Inspiration II, on Thursday, March 15 at 10 PM (ET) during Q Sessions Live featuring Alabama. The broadcast offers viewers a sneak peek at the new album 11 days before the proposed street release date and will feature a live performance by the group from The Sound Shop in Nashville, Tennessee.

Packaged especially for QVC, Alabama's Songs of Inspiration II will be accompanied by a six-track bonus CD, totaling 19 inspiring favorites. During the show, the band will perform a selection of songs from the new CD, which includes such songs as "Down by the Riverside" and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?"

Last year's first volume, Songs of Inspiration, debuted at number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and marked the first time an Alabama album entered any album chart in the top spot since the inception of SoundScan in 1991.
