Comcast and Sinclair Broadcast Group Continue Retransmission Consent Agreement Discussions

PHILADELPHIA and BALTIMORE, March 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA)(NASDAQ:CMCSK) and Sinclair Broadcast Group (NASDAQ:SBGI) today announced that they are continuing to have productive discussions and have agreed to extend the retransmission agreement that was set to expire today through March 10.

As a result, Comcast customers will continue to receive Sinclair-owned channels while the companies continue to work to reach a fair agreement.
