On the eve of this year's "March Madness," where many hoops fans will stream video of the NCAA Tournament games and engage in sports gambling on their office computers trying to cash in on this year's Cinderella story, Websense, has reported a trend among hackers to target major sporting events. This coupled with a thirty-one percent increase in the number of sports- related Web sites and a fifty-six percent increase in the number of gambling- related Web sites compared to a year ago, leads to a decrease in employee productivity, network bandwidth and computer security.

NASA Spacecraft Gets Boost From Jupiter for Pluto Encounter

NASA's New Horizons spacecraft successfully completed a flyby of Jupiter, using the massive planet's gravity to pick up speed for its three billion mile voyage to Pluto and the unexplored Kuiper Belt region beyond. New Horizons came within one-point-four million miles of Jupiter, placing the spacecraft on target to reach the Pluto system in July 2015. During its closest approach, the spacecraft could not communicate with Earth, but gathered science data on the giant planet, its moons and atmosphere.
