BURLINGTON, Vt., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast, the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced that it has teamed up with the Boston Red Sox to launch the "Triple Play Sweepstakes," a unique contest where fans in Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine can enter to win a pair of tickets to the team's home opening game on Tuesday, April 10.

Fans will be automatically entered to win the Triple Play Sweepstakes when they sign up for Comcast High-Speed Internet and Digital Cable for six months at a special introductory price of $74.99 per month. Later this year, Comcast will launch its award-winning ON DEMAND service in Vermont, allowing local Digital Cable customers to access its growing ON DEMAND library of more than 8,000 programs available each month, the majority of which are available at no additional cost.

Existing Comcast customers and non-customers also can enter the Triple Play Sweepstakes just by mailing a 3x5 postcard with name, address and daytime phone number to Comcast Red Sox Triple Play Sweepstakes, c/o Fenway Sports Group, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA 02215. No purchase is necessary. The contest will last until March 11, 2007 and winners will be notified before April 1, 2007. All contestants must be at least 21 years old to enter.
