Pennsylvania Cable Network Honored With Farm Show Service Award
HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Agriculture Secretary Dennis Wolff recognized the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) as the winner of the Farm Show Service Award at the 2007 Pennsylvania Farm Show.
"PCN has played an instrumental role in helping Pennsylvanians understand the importance of agriculture, providing award-winning coverage of the Farm Show for 14 years," said Wolff. PCN provides the most comprehensive Farm Show coverage of any media outlet with more than 30 daily staff members working to provide 140 hours of show highlights. Since 1994, the network has provided more than 1,600 hours of Farm Show coverage to more than 3.3 million viewers. PCN has permanently installed hundreds of yards of cable in order to broadcast from a number of venues throughout the Farm Show Complex.
