Nominations Date for the 42nd Annual Academy of Country Music(R) Awards

ENCINO, Calif., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Academy of Country Music is announcing that the nominations for the 42nd ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC(R) AWARDS will be revealed the morning of Monday, March 5th, 2007.

Reigning and back-to-back Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney, who was the #1 ticket seller in North America last year -- and is slated to play 6 major NFL Stadiums this summer -- will be joined by tourmates and fellow country superstars three-million-selling Sugarland and Texas icon Pat Green along with CBS "The Early Show" anchor Hannah Storm.

CBS' "The Early Show" will carry the nominations announcement LIVE from the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame(R) and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee.
