Digicel Launches Vimio-Powered Mobile TV in Jamaica

DUBLIN, January 29/PRNewswire/ -- Vimio, a leading provider of media distribution solutions and
content to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), is pleased to announce that its
Live TV solution has been incorporated in a new Mobile TV service which has
been launched today in Jamaica by Digicel Group ("Digicel").

Since its launch in 2001, Digicel has become the

a recent new entrant into the Central American market. After five years,
Digicel is renowned for competitive rates, unbeatable coverage, superior

The new service will initially be offered to Digicel customers
in Jamaica. Users will enjoy around-the-clock live local programming,
including well-loved soap operas, news bulletins, music videos and sports
programs, thanks to Digicel's partnership with Jamaica's national station,
CVM TV and the country's leading music channel, Hype TV. It is expected that
the new service will be available to roll out across Digicel's other markets,
with a potential target audience of 4 million.
