The latest Harris Poll of public attitudes on the situation in Iraq shows that many U.S. adults hold the attitude of "we're not winning and we're not losing." However, while this suggests the U.S. adult public thinks that perhaps things aren't quite as negative in Iraq, other data within this same survey still paints a very negative picture. Most of the numbers are nearly as low as they have ever been in the course of more than three years.

The Original Hollywood Sign to be on Display at Artexpo New York 2007, Sort of... Program and Letter 'H' Will be Launched at World's Largest Fine and Popular Art Fair

One of the most recognized symbols in the world will make its way to the Big Apple in March. The original Hollywood sign which was torn down in 1978, will be on display at Artexpo New York 2007 at Javits Convention Center from March 1st through March 5th.

Last year, Artist Bill Mack, who is best known for his life-like relief sculptures, purchased the original sign to use as a canvas and sculpting material to create a series of sculptures and portraits of illustrious Movie Stars from the "Golden Age of Hollywood." The first in the sculpture series, "Letter H," stands eight-feet tall (approximately 20% of the size of the original letter) with images of Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo and James Dean painted on it fabricated entirely from authentic panels from the Original Hollywood Sign.
