'Spiritual Warriors' the Movie, Inspires Glowing Reviews: 'Low Budget Diamond With a High Carat Profile'

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. John-Roger NY Times #1 best-selling author has partnered with long-time friend and actor Jsu Garcia (Along Came Polly, The Lost City) in the making of the movie 'Spiritual Warriors'.

A recent review distinguishes 'Spiritual Warriors' from other independent films: "most independent projects are hampered by amateur script writers, mediocre acting, inexperienced directing and poor camera work. The movie is inspired by John-Roger's LA Times #1 best-selling book 'Spiritual Warrior'.

Cuban-American actor and heartthrob Jsu Garcia (Along Came Polly, The Lost City) co-wrote and co-produced the film with Dr. John-Roger, and stars in the film along side legendary actor and dialect coach Robert Easton, Emmy Award winner Leigh Taylor-Young and Academy Award nominee Sally Kirkland.

Garcia led his production team through the volatile Middle East, filming in Egypt, Syria and Jordan using armed escorts. However, Garcia's experience was one of grace and ease. Their team found the people to be amicable and friendly, and the Governments they encountered were welcoming to American film production. Capturing never-before seen footage including the first complete ascent of one of the Great Pyramids in Egypt, the film's breathtaking cinematography is also complemented with spectacular CGI and visual effects in HD.

'Spiritual Warriors' is screening independently across the US while currently looking for distribution. The next screening; a celebrity and media event will be held at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills on January 17 and will include a Q&A with producers and cast.
