'Heavenly Star' By Genki Rockets Makes iTunes Debut
Q Entertainment Showcases Newly Formed Group to Game and Music Fans, Adds Five More Remixes
TOKYO, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Tokyo-based Q Entertainment, best known for its music and luminary action puzzle game series "Lumines(TM)," announced that their self-produced hit song "Heavenly Star" is now available for purchase at the iTunes Store US and Japan (http://www.itunes.com/), with other territories to follow. Fans can purchase the song for US$0.99 or 150 yen.

Performed by a new group called Genki Rockets and produced by Q Entertainment's own Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the song's catchy and uplifting tune combined with equally striking video has caught the attention of many gamers and was recently nominated Best Song at the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards. Genki Rockets is a hybrid group that consists of a few artists and will be collaborating with other artists in the future to bring new music and videos.

"Heavenly Star" is the first original song and music video produced by game producer Mizuguchi and is currently available as a background (skin) in the puzzle-based video game sequel Lumines II for PSP(R) system (PlayStation(R)Portable). It will also be introduced into Lumines Live! (Xbox Live Arcade) as the "Heavenly Star Pack" starting early January 2007 for a limited time only. Gamers can enjoy the music video in stunning HD and 5.1 surround sound as they play their way through the falling blocks.
In addition, remixes of "Heavenly Star" (Countdown remix, Glorious remix, Love remix, Space walk remix, Sunrise remix) are already underway and will be available for purchase at the iTunes Store in the near future.
