Nikko Bond Test - How Well do you Know Your Bond Cars?
LONDON, November 2/PRNewswire/ -- With the new Casino Royale film hitting the big screen this Autumn (17th
November), Nikko UK, leading manufacturers of radio control vehicles, is
proud to introduce the Bond licensed radio control Aston Martin DBS. As
always, this sleek model has the style and sophistication of any Bond car!
This breathtaking 1:16 scale car drives forward, left, right
and reverse and is able to achieve a maximum speed of 8.5km/h!
To celebrate the launch of Casino Royale, see if you're a
lifelong fan and can match the Bond car to the Bond film, below:
A: Aston Martin DB5
Replacing the Bentley in this 1964 Bond film, this fully
loaded sports car was key in defeating the man with the Midas touch.
B: Lotus Esprit
This model was full of surprises when Q introduced it in 1977.
Features included a rear firing mud spray and a full underwater kit that
turned the car into a submarine!
C: Aston Martin V8 Vantage
It was Timothy Dalton that got to drive this sleek model while
preventing an evil arms dealer from starting another World War. The car was
equipped with laser guns in wheels, out-riggers for skiing and automatic,
self inflating spiked tyres!
D: BMW 750iL
In 1997 Bond was able to drive this model using remote control
from a cell phone while investigating a missing British battleship. The last
time the car is seen it is flying off a multi storey car park.
E: Ford Thunderbird
Though only appearing for a short time, it was Halle Berry who
arrived in style into this Bond movie behind the wheel of the classic
Thunderbird.
F: Aston Martin DBS
Although a new movie, this stunning model makes a
much-anticipated appearance alongside the newest face of Bond, Daniel Craig.
