Madison Square Garden, 'The World's Most Famous Arena' to Host 2nd Annual C4-Sports, July 18 & 19, 2007

SPARKS, Md., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- C4-Sports will hold its second annual C4-Sports Conference & Solution Exposition at the storied Madison Square Garden in New York City. The inaugural event, held this past July in Las Vegas, attracted personnel from professional, collegiate, and the amateur sports community.

"It makes perfect sense to hold C4-Sports at Madison Square Garden, an arena whose very name is synonymous with sports, as our mission is to continue to be the advocate for integration of technology into sports," says C4-Sports general manager, Gene Sanders. Sanders also says that "in addition to being famous, the 'Garden' is also very convenient for the members of our community, affording quick access via train, car and taxi, as well as being very close to numerous hotels."

"MSG Media has a rich history of innovative programming, content and broadcast technology," said Mike Bair, president, MSG Media. "Madison Square Garden is the perfect fit for C4-Sports Conference & Solution Exposition."

"The use of technology in our operation gets more sophisticated each season. An event dedicated to those of us capturing, producing and managing sports content is a good idea and Madison Square Garden is a great venue. I look forward to participating," said Dave Maltese, Video Director, New York Football Giants.

"We are excited to host the C4-Sports Conference & Solution Exposition. This event showcases our dynamic city as the sports and media capital of the world," added Susan Sweeney, Vice President of Convention Development with NYC & Company.

The inaugural C4-Sports Conference & Exposition attracted sports professionals from the broadcast, cable, IPTV, and web technology sectors of colleges, stations, and teams. The 2007 event will expand to include interactive learning, sales, marketing and measurement into the program. Ken Adelson, senior vice president, production operations & planning for NBA Entertainment noted, "I greatly enjoyed working with the professionals from C4-Sports earlier this year and look forward to another great event. The concept of an interactive forum makes it a unique learning experience for members of the sports community."

"We have conducted numerous surveys of sports professionals, and the information is very clear, the program must drill deeper into the organizational structure and must be interactive," says Sanders. "Our advisors, event participants, and suppliers want a forum where they can interact with their colleagues and contemporaries, learn how to benefit from the latest technologies and view solution demonstrations."
