FSN'S Best Damn Sports Show Period and Las Vegas Launch Nationwide Search for New 'Las Vegas Insider' Correspondent

Viewers Can Upload Auditions to FOXSports.com

Auditions to Take Place in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Have you ever watched a big-time sports event from Vegas? The glitz and glam of the bright lights, the spectacle of the parties, and the energy of the crowds create a buzz that makes Vegas the best place in the world to watch sports.

Now FSN's Best Damn Sports Show Period and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) will give a viewer an opportunity to be a part of the Vegas scene during two of the biggest events on the sports calendar.

"There is no better place than Las Vegas to experience the excitement of game day if you can't be at the game," said Terry Jicinsky, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. "The 'Las Vegas Insider' will be someone who will not only report on the action but also epitomize the exhilaration and spontaneity that is Las Vegas."

Best Damn is looking for a talented, savvy viewer to be a "Las Vegas Insider" -- a correspondent who will file reports for the show -- LIVE from Las Vegas -- during the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Game.

Starting this week and continuing until December 8, Best Damn will hold an open, nationwide casting call in search of the "Las Vegas Insider." Participants will be required to submit a one-minute video testimonial showing off their "reporting" skills and explaining why "Las Vegas is the best place in the world to watch sports."

The final selection of the Las Vegas Insider will be announced on Best Damn during the week of January 8, 2007. The finalist (and guest) will receive round-trip airfare and hotel accommodation for two (2) nights in Las Vegas to host two (2) Las Vegas Insider segments featuring the Super Bowl (week of January 29, 2007) and NBA All-Star Game (week of February 16, 2007).

"We're pleased that the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority turned to FSN and Best Damn to be a vehicle to market their great city," said Adam Holzer, senior vice president, advertising sales, Fox Cable Networks. "It's a natural fit. Best Damn's spontaneous, high-energy format truly embodies the spirit of Las Vegas, and the show's advertiser-friendly format allows us to customize this promotion to fit our client's needs."

HOW TO BECOME THE LAS VEGAS INSIDER

Submissions should be no longer than one (1) minute during which entrants will introduce themselves and explain why they should be the "Las Vegas Sports Insider".

Entrants may audition in three ways:
