America's Favorite Self-Destructive Daredevils Unleash Their Outrageous Antics and Unapologetic Pranks on the Only Deserving Victim Left - Corporate Television - at the Westwood Debut of Their New Spoof Comedy
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Xenon Pictures, Inc. and Ckrush Entertainment will premiere National Lampoon's TV: The Movie, directed by Sam Maccarone and starring Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jason "Weeman" Acuna, and Preston Lacy, at the Majestic Crest Theatre in Westwood, CA, on November 9, 2006 at 7:00 PM.
National Lampoon's TV: The Movie is a celebration of the ever-increasing ridiculousness of society reflected through television ... who are we trying to kid? We just wanted to break stuff, throw Steve-O off a building and get some chicks naked. "Jackassian" stunts combined with sketch comedy form the basis of this demented channel-surfing adventure for the unfocused youth of the world. This spoof comedy stars pop-culture icons of the past and present such as Lee Majors, Judd Nelson, the "Jackass" clan and many more. Watch Dian Bachar, of "Southpark" fame, flee from serial gang rapists in "The Real Fear Factor"; "Lost's" Ian Somerhalder take a belligerent mouthful from his Steve-O doll; and Jason Mewes (better known as Jay from Kevin Smith's Clerks spin-offs) and Clifton Collins, Jr. (Capote), as they seek prison-style love from Grind House's Danny Trejo and other drug-dealing inmates in "Sex and the Pen." From "Cops" to "Wife Swap" to "The Apprentice" to "Girls Gone Wild," nothing is off limits. So sit back, relax and let National Lampoon's TV: The Movie change the channel for you!
Xenon Pictures, Inc. and Ckrush Entertainment present the red-carpet premiere of National Lampoon's TV: The Movie, and expect to attract a celebrity-filled audience including the cast and creators of "Jackass," including Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, and Chris Pontius, and international rock phenomenon Green Day. The film is directed by Sam Maccarone, co-written by Sam Maccarone and Preston Lacy, produced by Adam Vetri, and is co-produced by Todd King, Clifton Collins, Jr., and Jacob Vargas. The executive producers are Gregory Cohen, Jim DiLorenzo, Jonathan Ross Gilbert, Steven Angel, Jeremy Dallow, and Preston Lacy.
The film has been rated R for "pervasive strong, crude & sexual content, drug & alcohol abuse, language, violence & nudity" ... and we couldn't be more proud!
