FEELING AT HAIR REUNION 2006 RUNS HIGH
,
Hair author James Rado and original London cast member Paul Korda talking about the revolution at the 38th anniversary of the ground-breaking musical HAIR

The Aquarius Theatre, now the studios of Nickelodeon sees the re-emergence of HAIRs ideals in the current World.
Together with writer James Rado and original Broadway producer Michael Butler, cast members that played the many productions around the globe, from as far as Russia, London and Australia, and as close to Los Angeles, came together last night, to celebrate the songs and the ideals of the 60's musical HAIR.
Gathering together in 2006, the theme of the show takes on an uncanny resemblance to the present conditions in the current strife-full world, and proved that the innocence of the 60's has not been lost and is still available for modern day youth to emulate.
Paul Korda, whose current music video he recorded with the choir of 32ndSt/USC Magnet School for the Performing Arts, along with children from East Los Angeles' community centers, entitled "Beyond the Darkness" is a project, he has believed in for many years, that calls for a "A Return to Innocence", that bases creativity as a means for the protection of innocence in children, often harmed by war mongering adults and other unnatural catastrophic incidents created by them, such as global warming and crime.
The evening was joyous and wholeheartedly real, culminating in singing, smiling and living "harmony and understanding".

Nice, thanks for the good words and the opinions which do express what so many of us feel about the world's condition today.
Peace and Love,
Michael
Dear Michael,
Your action in producing the musical HAIR, believing in its message from before its inception, to a small theater off Broadway, and on to Broadway and then to every major country in the World, translated into so many languages, you have proved yourself to be a pioneer for Peace and Equality for all. In the purpose of Life you rank among the greats who achieved something good for Humanity in the 20th century, and HAIRs message will live on, beyond the end of all wars.
Thanks
Paul Korda
