Time Warner Cable officials say they've made the site functional and informative. "This is another example of Time Warner Cable's commitment to delivering convenience and flexibility to our customers," said Rob Moel, president of Time Warner Cable's North Texas division. "Now, when you want to order or upgrade an existing account, you can log on to our newly designed website and select the services you want."

To get started, customers will need to type in their name and address, select the services they wish to order then select a date for installation. Time Warner Cable says one of their customer service representatives will make a follow up call to finalize the order and install date.

If you are preparing to move, the site is also designed to help customers transfer their services. Simply click on the transfer service tab, provide the necessary information and a Time Warner Cable customer service representative will do the rest.

An added convenience on the enhanced site is the "Live Chat" function, available weekdays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday. During the "Live Chat" sessions Time Warner Cable customer care representative will provide answers to your service related questions in real time.
