NEW YORK, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Rock's most epic adventure continues when Meat Loaf takes on the Great White Way with a one-night-only concert - Bat Out of Hell on Broadway - scheduled for November 2 at New York's Palace Theatre.
Meat Loaf's last tour was in high demand selling more than 30,000 tickets in the tri-state area alone. Music lovers will have a rare opportunity to see Meat Loaf up-close in a rare theatrical performance of Bat out of Hell's greatest songs.
The trilogy is completed with his three-act show: Act 1 featuring songs from the original 1977 album Bat Out of Hell (including "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad"), Act 2 with songs from the Grammy-winning Bat Out of Hell 2 - Back into Hell (including "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)") and Act III featuring brand-new songs from the forthcoming Bat Out of Hell III - The Monster is Loose, premiering live for the first time ever in New York.
"It's a special treat to get the chance to see this huge show in a theater of only 1700 seats," said James Nederlander the event promoter.
Pre-sale tickets will be made available for Meat Loaf fan club members on Tues., October 3 at http://www.meatloaf.net/ . Special advance tickets are available through New York stations WPLJ and Q104.3, as well as other major tri-state area radio partners including WDHA (NJ) and WBAB (Long Island) Weds., October 4 at 9:00 a.m. through Friday, October 6 at 9:00 p.m. via http://www.ticketmaster.com/ (code: BAT3). Bat Out of Hell III - The Monster is Loose (Virgin Records America), which will be released on Halloween, marks the culmination of a three-decade journey for Meat Loaf. Combined, the first two Bat albums sold nearly 50 million copies worldwide, establishing Bat Out of Hell as a true musical franchise. Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose captures the theatricality, elegance and melodicism of the first two albums, while infusing an even more diverse, dynamic approach. The first single, the Jim Steinman-penned "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," is a sweeping, stirring duet with international star Marion Raven that is as powerful as it is passionate.
