Accomplished Artists Sir Paul Sorvino and Federico Castellucio Headline Night of Hearts With a Premier Celebrity Event
BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- NIGHT OF HEARTS is the "see and be seen" event hosted by Boca Raton Community Hospital (www.brch.com) in celebration of the new Christine E. Lynn Heart Institute. The event, scheduled for November 16, will be held at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. A culmination of art, music, fashion and influential people, this celebration will command a very select group of artists, entertainers, radio and television personalities, and community leaders.
Federico Castelluccio has appeared in many plays, films, independent features and TV shows; his most recognizable part being "Furio" on HBO's "The Sopranos." In addition to being a talented actor, Castellucio is an accomplished artist whose style incorporates the technique of the Renaissance masters with modern day objects.
After viewing his work, Boca Raton Community Hospital representatives contacted Castellucio to create a painting that would embody the story of the organization. Boca Raton Community Hospital was established by Gloria and Bob Drummond, who tragically lost their two children in 1962. Through fundraising and strong community support, the Drummonds persevered to found the Hospital in 1967. Castellucio was so moved by the emotional narrative that he designed a painting in celebration, which includes a little boy on a beach drawing a heart.
A beautiful complement to Castellucio's painting is an original bronze sculpture of a girl releasing a dove, created exclusively for Boca Raton Community Hospital by Castellucio's friend, actor Sir Paul Sorvino. Sorvino, who has appeared on the award-winning NBC series "Law and Order," as well more than 80 films including "The Firm" and "Goodfellas," is a passionate sculptor who has exhibited works in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Both pieces of original art will be unveiled at this exclusive event.
This event will be a star studded affair! Viewing of artwork and festivities begins at 6:30 p.m. Complimentary Hors d' Oeuvres and beverages will be served. Come party, mingle, network and show your support!
