WPP'S GroupM Signs Agency-Wide Advertising Agreement With TiVo
Latest Agency-Wide Agreement Shows Strong Demand for TiVo's Advertising and Audience Measurement Solutions
ALVISO, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ:TIVO), the creator of and a leader in advertising solutions and television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), today announced that WPP's GroupM network of agencies, MediaCom, Mediaedge:cia, and MindShare, have committed to purchase an agreed upon minimum amount of TiVo advertising. GroupM, one of the world's leading full service media investment management operation, signed the agency-wide advertising and research agreement to help its clients better engage their target audience.

As part of the agreement, each agency in GroupM's network will be able to offer their clients pre-negotiated pricing to encourage use of TiVo's interactive advertising products. TiVo and GroupM have also agreed to design a custom application for one advertiser to drive commerce, similar to the Car Configuration Tool and Movie Ticket Commerce application that have previously been launched on TiVo's service.
