LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Pat Boone surrenders to his love for R&B and releases Pat Boone R&B Classics -- We Are Family (full title) featuring some of the greatest R&B hits and their original artists. The press conference (press only) and listening session will take place at the historic Pat Boone Museum and Office Suites, located at 9220 Sunset Blvd., (Luckman Plaza Bldg.), Suite 310, Los Angeles, CA 90069.

WHO: Smooth as silk crooner, Pat Boone lends his vocals to
original R&B songs featuring R&B luminaries such as Gerald
Albright, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, The Four Tops,
Joni Sledge, KC & The Sunshine Band, Kool Moe Dee, Kool &
the Gang, Sam Moore, Ray Parker, Jr. and Smokey Robinson.
Boone considers these legendary greats like members of his
own family, near and dear to his heart. Today, in the world
of urban music, while white artists such as Eminem have been
recognized and respected for "representin'" in the hood, it
was Pat Boone the white kid from Nashville (not Memphis) who
in the early 50's was "the original" cross over act.
Boone was known for "gettin' down" with the "brothas" in the
music industry, as a bonafide R&B and later POP artist. Pat
Boone R&B Classics -- We Are Family will be Boone's music
legacy. This CD is the culmination of a life long dream and
the R&B community says, "Welcome home, Pat." Artists from
the CD will appear at the press conference to show their
unconditional love for a member of the R&B music rat pack.
