National TV Advertisement Promotion Launches New Ultimate Cheese KFC Snacker

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- No kidding, Kentucky Fried Chicken has created another interactive advertising campaign to celebrate the power of laughter and announce its latest Snacker sandwich, the Ultimate Cheese KFC Snacker. This time the punch line to a "cheesy" joke: "What do you put on your sandwich during rush hour?" is hiding in the new Ultimate Cheese KFC Snacker TV ad. Consumers who find it will have the last laugh by getting a chance to try the new Snacker for free.

Starting today, consumers can get in on the joke by re-viewing the new, Ultimate Cheese KFC Snacker TV ad to find the mystery punch line, which is "displayed" in one of the scenes. The first 1,000 people who enter the correct punch line at www.KFC.com each day for the next 35 days, will receive a coupon in the form of a $1 KFC gift check to try an Ultimate Cheese KFC Snacker for free (tax may be extra) at any participating KFC location.

This sneaky Snacker advertisement will run nationally September 10 - October 15 on primetime NBC during the Sunday football kick-off, on the CBS, ABC and FOX networks, and during WWE programming on UPN. It is also available to view today at www.KFC.com. A full-page teaser ad that gives people a taste of what to expect also is in today's edition of USA Today.

Earlier this year, KFC launched the Buffalo KFC Snacker, the first extension to the best selling Snacker line of value-priced sandwiches, with the first-ever documented hidden message in a national TV advertisement. Today, the company continues the tradition with the Ultimate Cheese KFC Snacker.

The new sandwich features KFC's signature, 100 percent chicken breast strip, covered in a blend of cheddar and Swiss cheeses, topped with crisp lettuce and served on a warm sesame seed bun.
